Contact form: when you send a message, we process the name, email address, subject and message you provide, solely to read and respond to your enquiry. The message is delivered to us by Web3Forms, an email-forwarding service.

Site preferences: your theme (light/dark), language (English/Icelandic) and cookie choice are stored locally in your browser so the site remembers them. This stays on your device and is not sent to us or anyone else.

Map (only if you allow it): the Contact page can show a Google Maps embed. It stays blocked until you explicitly allow it; if you do, Google loads the map and may receive your IP address and set its own cookies.

We rely on your consent for the Google Maps embed and for sending us a message; on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running a secure site; and, where storage is strictly necessary for the site to function (your preferences), on the corresponding exemption under the ePrivacy rules.

We do not sell your data. It is processed only by the providers that help us run the site:

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers offer, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to handle your matter and any follow-up, after which they are deleted. Preferences stored locally remain on your device until you clear them or change your choice.
